In my senior year of college, I took up an advertising elective under Prof. Eleanor Agulto. One of the assignments was to join the branded category of AdSpeak 2016, a collegiate-level advertising contest.

Since I wanted to try my hand at more than just one copywriting exercise, I joined the campaign category and built on the insight that Filipinos love the "historical" look of other cities, yet we don't care enough for our own heritage sites.

I became a finalist for this category, and was granted a TBWA Academy Summer Practicum Scholarship.
